Speech Without Borders ("SWB," "we," "us") collects as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Contact form submissions. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject selection, and message. Submissions are delivered to our inbox at free@speech.ngo.

Newsletter subscribers. If you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your email address. Our newsletter is managed by Buttondown. Their privacy policy is available at buttondown.com/legal/privacy.

Donations. If you donate through a partner platform (such as Every.org), that platform collects payment information under its own privacy policy. We do not process or store payment details. If you request a donation receipt, we retain your name, donation details, and contact information for tax compliance purposes.

Testimonials. If you submit a testimonial through Senja, that platform collects the information you provide under its own privacy policy (senja.io/legal/privacy-policy). Approved testimonials may be displayed on our website and shared on social media.

Website hosting. Our site is hosted on Framer. Framer may collect standard technical data (such as IP addresses and browser type) through its hosting infrastructure. We do not use additional analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies.

What we do with it

We use your information only for the purpose you provided it: to respond to your message, to send you our newsletter, to process your donation, to issue tax documentation, or to display your testimonial.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions as needed to respond and follow up. We retain newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email or by contacting us. We retain donation records as required by tax law.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing free@speech.ngo. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here with a new date.
